About us
Our Story
Pickles have been a part of Indian cuisine for centuries, passed down from generation to generation. We started Amma ka Achar with the same approach when the pickles made from Amma's special recipe can retain the taste of the mouth, childhood memories and the importance of Indian spices which is somewhere fading away. Our pickles are made from the freshest ingredients and are perfect for any meal.
Amma ka achar is all about homemade pickles. picked fresh from our farm and made with absolutely no preservatives. Our pickles come in a variety of flavours so there's sure to be something for everyone to enioy
Meet Amma
Amma ka achaar is based on the idea of bringing back the memories of "ghar ka swaad". We strive to de-commercialise the most iconic flavour of Indian culinary culture by bridging the gap between "ghar" (home) and "bazaar" (market). We believe in re-establishing the lost connection of rural india with the super fast and busy life of cities through the taste that everyone eagerly searches on the shelves of super markets. A taste that. for a moment takes vou back to the time you miss the most in your life.
The idea behind using amma's mascot holding a burni is to represents the pickle packed in a jar made by amma's own hand gives it a homely feeling..The use of typography of "Amma Ka Achaar' & purple color reflects the nature of her homemade pickles and sentiments attached to it
Our Mission
At 'Amma Ka Achar we aspire not to capture the market share of an ever growing food processing industry but to bring back the glimpses of the golden old days of summer at your grandma's country home in every bite.
Our mission is to serve 100% natural Homemade Pickles packed with dadi & nani's love to the market
Our Vision
'Amma Ka Achaar' is not just some random jar of pickle rather a whole set of emotions in itself. It represents the age-old indian tradition that binds many generations of a family in knot of flavour that can't be replaced by any market based product. This was the vision that steered us to institutionalise the flavours that transcends generations and provide a lease of life to this old tradition of India.
